Arrividerci, Ludo!

Ludovico, mostly referred to as Ludo, arrived in Cambridge on June 1, 2023 and worked on his master thesis, in which he searched for dark photons in the low mass range from 1 to 10 GeV. This analysis uses our newly implemented triggers in the Run 3 data.

Ludo and his enthusiastic Mediterranean spirit merged well into the 4th floor atmosphere and as you can see in the picture below he meshed well with the other members of the PPC. Luca even made PPC T-shirts for the two masters students from the ETH! Maybe, there is a side hustle there to sell PPC merchandise? Anyway … conversations about physics were of course prevalent, but we also had enough time to talk about life, what happens after work, and even practiced some sailing. Ludo had a great positive influence on the group and we hope to see him back soon. Rumor is that he will hang out with the CERN based PPC crowd until he finishes up his thesis.

Ludovico Mori, a Master’s exchange student from ETH Zurich, has now returned to Switzerland. Best of luck with your particle physics endeavors!
