Today, April 8 at 12:09pm the issue with the number 5000 has been created in our project management tool called Cleo (Clever Organizer), a local redmine installation. The issue No. 500 is a fairly standard ticket a new user asking to be added to the SubMIT candidate user list. The issue is automatically generated as a reaction to an email, thus emulating a help desk ticket system.

While it might sometimes feel a little bureaucratic, keeping things organized helps a lot when running large and multiple projects. Cleo, instated in the PPC on February 19 in 2014 under the name ‘GuidO’ ( Gia del Ocio) changed names in 2023 after Alisa, our secretary at the time alerted us to the fact that guido can also be used as a slur… and we moved to Cleo. The first ticket was a test and deleted to see that one can, and thus does not exist in the system anymore. Below you can see our first real issue with the No. 2.

Cleo has a powerful back end and is an integral part of the PPC business. We manage our computing systems: Tier-2, Tier-3 and SubMIT with this system and all purchases and bigger group projects are documented here.
