New MIT Tier-2 Web site

Welcome to the new web site for our Tier-2 Computing center at MIT. We will use this web site to share with you all that is going on at the Tier-2 here at MIT. We are planning to have regular reports of what we do and stories on our big projects.

The MIT Tier-2 center was brought to life in 2006 around the NSF funded initiative to provide computing resources to the High Energy Physics community of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Meanwhile it has grown to support Heavy Ion computing for CMS, the LHCb experiment, the CLAS12 experiment at Jefferson lab and many other smaller groups in the Laboratory for Nuclear Science at MIT.
